Hello everyone! I’ve finished migrating my home server off of EndeavourOS and onto CentOS Stream 10. As an added bonus, I’ve created a wordpress site for my musings and maybe for portfolio stuff.
I’m honestly not sure why younger me thought it was a good idea to host their server on Arch, and using CentOS gives me much-needed practice with Enterprise Linux. Dealing with SELinux for the first time has been interesting, but I’m learning how to deal with its idiosyncrasies quickly enough. In the future, I’ll be moving away from my cursed storage array towards a sensible RAID setup, as well as installing an AV1-capable Nvidia card for better transcodes. Until then, I’ll be shoutcasting Dota when I can and maybe start posting some of my thoughts on that here, as well as whatever comes to mind (I want to take a dive into this past year’s Pirates season, and maybe start getting into hockey).
